Patricia Belle Williamson passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the age of 82 in Winter Park, Florida.

Pat was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent her early childhood years in both Bremen and Atlanta. After graduating from Montreat College in North Carolina in 1952, she studied at the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia, and the Virginia Commonwealth School of Social Work. She continued her education at Louisville Seminary and Princeton Theological Seminary.

Throughout her life she specialized in service to youth and served on councils of the Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly, and on the Board that designed the Career and Person Counseling Program at Eckerd College. She was certified as a Director of Christian Education (DCE) and served faithfully as the DCE at the First Presbyterian Church in Tampa, Florida, the First Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, and the Winter Park Presbyterian Church in Winter Park, Florida where she retired in 1990.

A graveside service will be held at Bremen City Cemetery on Sunday, December 16, at 2 p.m. and a memorial service will be held in January to celebrate her life at the Winter Park Presbyterian Church, where she devotedly served for 17 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family and friends suggest memorial contributions to the Winter Park Presbyterian Church in Winter Park, Florida.
