Nettie Lee Sanders Hogan, 88, of Barnes Road, Bowdon, died Sept. 23, 2012.

Mrs. Hogan was born on Aug. 4, 1924, in Haralson County, Ga., the daughter of the late Jessie Sanders and Mattie Lou Hobbs Sanders.

She was a former employee of Rich’s and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Butler Hogan; brothers, Clifford, Lovie, Jack, Grady, Bill and Pink Sanders; sisters Sally Miller, Cora Blackmon and Bernice Agan.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Linda Joyce and Robert Langley of Buchanan; son and daughter-in-law, Larry Wayne and Glynn Hogan of Bowdon; brothers, James Robert “Bob” Sanders of Winston and Burl and Era Sanders of Bremen; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the graveside at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Aaron Johnson officiating.
