Mrs. Loggins was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Charlie Loggins; son, James Gary Loggins; brothers, William Pitts, Ed Pitts, and Thomas Pitts; and a sister, Ruth Williams.
Survivors include daughter, Wanda and Jon Knight of New Boston, N.H.; sister, Betty McCollum of Eagles Landing, Ga.; brother, Lawrence and Doyle Pitts of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Jayme and Earl Colter of New Boston, N.H., and Jonathan and Jennifer Knight of Oviedo, Florida; great-grandchildren, Jonna Colter, Savannah Colter, Ysabelle Colter, Sam Knight, Thomas Knight, Victoria Knight, Kathlyn Knight, Daniel Knight, David Knight and Rebecca Knight; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 12 noon from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Steve Davis officiating. Music will be rendered by Bryant Turner and Susan Gibbs. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Knight, Sam Knight, Thomas Knight, Billy Shoemaker, Keith Williams and Earl Colter. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Knight, Daniel Knight and David Knight. Interment will follow in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
