Margie Nell Corley, 79, of Carrollton, Ga., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her residence. She was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Cleburne County, Ala., the daughter of the late Carl Eugene Adams and Eula LuJean Webb Adams.
Mrs. Corley was retired from the Fulton County Tag Office and had also worked for Scott Evans CDJ & Nissan Dealerships. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Corley, U.S. Air Force retired; two brothers, Marvin L. Adams and Ray J. Adams; and sister, Lois McLendon.
Survivors include sister, Jean Adams of Carrollton; sisters-in-law, Corine W. Adams of Bowdon and Betty C. Adams of Carrollton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Gentry and Dr. Charlie Rouse officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter. Those serving as pallbearers will be Kelvin Graham, Rodney Freeland, Daniel Brown, Thadius Boykin, Keith Pettis, Don Hall and Bill Chandler. Entombment will follow in Carrollton City Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Gentry and the Rev. Woodrow Hudson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
