Lois Mae Watson, 90, of Douglasville, Ga., died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. She was born April 12, 1922, in Paulding County, Ga., daughter of Clifford and Beatrice Wisner Fields.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll M. Watson; four brothers; and three sisters. She retired from a long career with the Douglas County School System to take care of her grandchildren.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her son, Terry M. Watson, and his wife, Margaret; her daughter, Debra Watson Hollis and her husband, Eddie; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Gordon Fields; her sisters, Ruth Swofford and Marcella Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3.

Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in the Rosehaven Chapel with the Revs. R.C. Watson and Eddie Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville, Ga.
