She worked at Fulton Bag Cotton Mill and retired from Decatur High School as dietitian. She belonged to the Carrollton Seniors and Sportsplex. She was raised in the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin Bolton; daughter, Tina Lane; grandsons, Ricky Lane and Darrell Husby; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy and Bob Husby; grandchildren, Mike and Patty Lane, Brenda and Bob Wade, Larry and Twana Lane, Bobby Husby, Kenneth and Margaret Husby; great-grandchildren, Michale and Sam Adams, Michael and Jody Lane, Missy and Scott Tullent, Bob and Tiffany Wade, Justin and Molly Wade, Chad Lane, Shannon Lane, Josh and Amber Husby, Joe and Tina Husby, John and Micah Husby, Jordan Husby, Jenna Husby, and Christian Husby; great-great-grandchildren, Makala, Landon, and Jaxson Lane, Bryson and Brady Adams, Avery, Cullen, and Colby Lane, Tullent, Tucker Wade, Tristen Husby, Austin Husby, Nadalie and Lila Husby; nephew and and niece, Terry and Cheryl Spain, Dottie and Wilber Johnson; and several other nieces and nephews that she loved.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor George Burroughs officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Chad Lane, Michael Lane, Justin Wade, Bobby Wade, Josh Husby, Joe Husby, John Husby and Jordan Husby. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Union City, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
