Mr. Kenneth Shawn (Kenny) Irvin, 36, of Hogansville died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at his home.

Born November 5, 1976, in Sumter, S.C., Mr. Irvin lived in East Point before making his home in Hogansville earlier this year. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Carrollton and was employed as an auto mechanic. He was an Ironman fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his sons, Eddie Irvin of Carrollton and Shawn Irvin of Hogansville; his father and step-mother, Terry and Anna Irvin of Bowdon; his fiancee, Jeana Jackson of Hogansville, and her children, Emily, Katelyn and Hope; brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Jenny Irvin of Temple and their daughter, Mylee; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Worley Irvin.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Hogansville with the Rev. Clinton Hughes and the Rev. Terry Wofford officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
