Mrs. Janie Masters Walker, a resident of Carrollton Manor and formerly of Ranburne, Ala., died November 27, 2012. She was 101.

Mrs. Walker was born on Aug. 22, 1911, in Pickens, S.C., to the late Benjamin and Florence Marie Masters. She was a homemaker and a member of Ranburne First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Frank Walker.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Joyce and Jack Pullen of Ranburne, Frankie and Mike Maffei of Carrollton, Ga., Barbara Pollard of Temple, Ga., Linda and Jack Evers of Cartersville, Ga., and Richard and Judy Walker of Douglasville, Ga.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. at Carroll Memory Gardens. Rev. Glenn Rountree will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Maffei, Mark Maffei, Gabe McGee, Cliff McGee, Caylie Sveda, and Jonny Sveda. Burial will follow the services.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
