Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Pope Barry, 83, of Carrollton, Ga., died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013. She was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Ft. White, Fla., daughter of the late Harry Clayton Pope and Effie Louise Snelgrove Pope.

She worked during her career as a lunchroom manager with the Hillsborough School System.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Barry Jr.; sister, Edna Baughman; brother-in-law, Cecil Baughman; and brother, Robert Pope.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Eileen and Tim Thrower of Carrollton, Dennis and Becky Barry of Rockford, Tenn., and Melanie and Dan Morgan of Cochrane, Alberta, Canada; sister, Geraldine White of Louisiana; sister-in-law, Joan Pope of Lake City, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Linda Pope of Lakeland, Fla.; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Dr. Daniel J. Morgan, Bro. Shane Roberson and Mr. Benjamin Lawrence officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Burial will follow on Monday, Feb. 25, at 3:30 p.m. in Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
