Mrs. Nalley was born December 6, 1944, in Cleveland, Georgia, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lorene Elliott Thurmond.
Mrs. Nalley was Christian by faith and had been a very active member of Fullerville Baptist Church for a number of years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bill Nalley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Randy Lusk of Dallas, Ga., Tina and Bill Bass of Prattville, Ala.; one son and daughter-in-law, Cary and Melanie Nalley of Carrollton, Ga.; six grandchildren, Ashley and Lindsey Lusk, Andrew, Jordan, and Nick Bass, and Kasey Nalley; three sisters, Loretta Warlick of Chandler, Ariz., Doris Fuller of Villa Rica, Ga., and Vernella Beddow of Plano, Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marian Thurmond, and one brother, Phillip Thurmond.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Fullerville Baptist Church in Villa Rica. Rev. Horace Wilson, Rev. Doug Weaver and Rev. Steve Swafford will officiate. Music will be provided by Kelly McCord.
Interment will follow the service in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with Randy Lusk, Larry Cotton, Earl Nalley, Bill Bass, Jordon Bass, and Andrew Bass serving as pallbearers.
