Elizabeth Ann House Truett of Bremen passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Haralson County, September 14, 1947, daughter of the late Sam House and Elizabeth Inez Bartlett House.

Mrs. Truett was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Waco.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, infant Sally House and Bobbie Jean Barkwell; brothers, Frank House and Sam House Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Truett of Bremen; children, Sandra “Sandy” Truett, Gregg and Sharon Truett, Kevin Truett all of Bremen; grandchildren, Amber Truett, Taylor Truett and Bailey Truett of Bremen; sisters, Martha Harris of Tallapoosa, Brenda Turner, Piedmont, Ala., and Linda Hatfield of Waco.

Services will be Sunday, November 18, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Connell and Dr. Pete Lumpkins officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ray Hatfield, Clyde Hatfield Jr., Bradley Teal, Buddy Farmer, Johnny Ray Truett and Rex Truett. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
