Mrs. Doris Adcock Jones, 91, of Temple passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at her residence. She was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Carroll County, Ga., the daughter of the late Mr. Wiley Lindsay Adcock and the late Mrs. Alice Emily Durrett Adcock. She loved helping at the beauty shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Jack Jones Sr.; grandson, Lindsey Oscar Jones; brother, Jack Adcock; and sister, Myra Adcock.

She was survived by her daughter, Myra Gail Jones of Temple; son and daughter-in-law Martin Jack and Jean Jones Jr. of Temple; sister, Agnes A. Powell of Temple; sister-in-law, Violet and Ray Newman of Austell; grandchildren, Darrell and Jennifer Jones Robinson of Temple, Linda and David Hudgins of Temple; Wallace and Kathy Deese of Temple; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with the Rev. Corky Addison officiating. Interment will follow in the Asbury Cemetery in Temple.
