Mrs. Dennis was born on Sept. 12, 1947, in Bowdon, Ga., to the late Lonnie and Cora Huey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Summerville.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Dennis; her children and their spouses, Charlene and Chris Bryant, Mark and Shasta Bell, Billy Beason, and Matthew and Wanda Bell; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Billy and Becky Huey, Mike and Genia Huey, and Teresa and Joe Bell; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Rainwater Funeral Home. The Rev. Dean Starling will officiate. Burial will follow at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Zion, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
