Mrs. Brenda Oliver Lee, 68, of Newell, Ala., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at her residence

Mrs. Lee was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Rome, Ga., the daughter of the late Winford Loyd Oliver and Bessie White Oliver. She was a ward secretary and nurse at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica for a number of years and was a member of New Brooklyn Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Troy Ralph Lee; children, Vickie Lee of Newell, Ala., Ricky and Hope Lee of Newell, Ala., Mickey and Tracey Lee of Temple; grandchildren, Steven and Brandy Stapler of Wedowee, Ala., Matt Stapler of Newell, Ala., Justin Lee of Newell, Ala., Lauren and Adam Wright of Temple, two step-grandchildren, Candace McCollum of Villa Rica and Hannah Golden of Newell, Ala.; one great-grandchild, Austin Stapler of Wedowee, Ala.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.19, at J. Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Conger officiating.

Interment will follow the service in Melrose Hills Memorial Park.
