In the boys championship on Wednesday, Bremen fired a 171 to edge Carrollton’s 174, while the Lady Blue Devils finished with a 102 on Thursday, just ahead of Carrollton at 116.
Tyler Lipscomb of Bremen was the low medalist for the boys at 36, edging out Carrollton’s Chandler Dixon, who was the runner-up with a 39. Lipscomb also won the closest to the pin award on the par-3 No. 8.
Bremen’s Abbey Akin and Anna Schrews tied for the low medalist on the girls side with 51s, while Cate Paul of Carrollton took runner-up honors, firing a 54.
The low scorers for the other competing boys teams were Zach Crawford (45) of Villa Rica, Dylan Morrow (46) of Haralson County, Trey Flynn (47) of Bay Springs and Alex McFarland and Ty Robinson (59s) of Bowdon.
Rounding out the low scorers for the other competing girls teams were Savannah Harris (55) of Haralson County, Morgan Collins (58) of Temple, Jessie Skinner (64) of Bowdon and Emma Miller (65) of Bay Springs.
