Come on everyone! Sonny and Newt want to spend state money on frivolous health care reform lawsuits while education budgets are being cut to the bone. Give me a break folks. They’re doing nothing but political posturing for the 2010 elections. The sad thing is that many swallow these tactics unconditionally. It makes me want to GO FISH!
After Vice President Biden’s wonderful comment on national TV that was whispered into President Obama’s ear once the health care reform was signed proves that class, morality, decency, and gentleman-like behavior left the White House with the Bush administration!
Since we now have health care reform, politicians better think twice about repealing it or litigating it in court. The snake might just bite them in the butt in the fall elections. Many people who will be better off because of the reform also vote! Plus, they have very good memories.
The Republicans had over seven years, while they controlled the White House and Congress, to do health care reform (2001-2008) and didn’t do much of anything. Now, they claim they have a plan to fix it. Maybe David Frum (former policy advisor to George W.) is right when he said, “The GOP went for all the marbles recently and came away with none!” The “party of NO” apparently has double dribbled!
Apparently the person who wrote your article about the 75th anniversary celebration for Post 143 of our American Legion at our very nice Veterans Memorial did not attend. The story made it appear that it was a campaign stop for the Georgia attorney general in his efforts to win the Democrat nomination for governor. The paper should have made it clear that this celebration was for the local American Legion’s 75th anniversary and to have more people see our beautiful Veterans Memorial park.
I am sick and tired of stray dogs in my neighborhood. If you don’t want your dog, get rid of it. Someone will love and take care of it. If not, animal control will help you take care of it.
They want to put a dollar tax on cigarettes. The tax should be put on alcohol, but the reason it is not is that it would hurt the lawyers’ business and would cut down on fines and maybe save a f ew lives. All they want these days is to get all the revenue they can at all cost.
I do get carried away a lot of the times, I forget that many people have not lived through the good times and the bad times. I can remember when I brought home my first paycheck. I made a whole $1.05 per hour. I worked fourty five hours that week. I could not figure out why they took taxes out of it. My daddy set me down and told me why we pay taxes. He still had the very first payslip that SSI was taken out.I think it was about two dollars they took out. That was the very first time they took social security out of any paycheck. He said, he was proud to paay it. After many years, he knew the exact paycheck he would payout the tax. He would have a little extra taken out each week so he would make sure to pay his part. Every week when he got paid, he would buy extra food for one or two families that had nothing. All through the years, he would always help others, many times we had less just so others had something. That was the way he was. I like to help others too. The thing that I am trying to say, I want to chose who I help. I do not want someone holding a gun to my head telling me you are going to give,give, and give. I took their advice about reading the obamacare bill. I do not like what I am finding in it. The first thing that bothers me the most. If they were going to write something like this, they should have wrote it so you could read it. There are so many problems with the lanuage in the bill, so many made up words that you can not tell if you are getting something or they are taking it away. In many places where they are plane about something, ten pages over, they take it away in missspelled words. I do not see how any member of congress or senate could have read this bill and not done something about the spelling and grammer in it.
If the bill was so good, why are they hidding so much with the format of the bill.
We will never change the minds of most people. They have been programed to hate anything that is not what they think. They cannot see good or bad. I see what is good for all the people. Hell I have had a good life and maybe a few more years will be hard. I just want it to be a little bit better for my 9 grandkids. They deserve to have a fighting chance. The way it is going,the chances are being taken away from them. I was raise in the manner that if you don't earn it, you don't deserve it. I have tried to install that idea into them from the very start of their young life.I have also told them to fight for what you have earned and freedom has to be fought for, It is not free and can be taken from the weak. The kids today have not got a fighting chance. They are taught from birth, that they are owed something from everybody else. People have freedoms and rights mixed up with free choice and self responsibility mixed up. I will give you and the rest of them the screen now. Enjoy all the people out there Most cannot take a joke. Maybe they can! They have one.

If you want to downgrade me because I hit a few of the wrong keys from time to time, you should see the obamacare bill that was signed by your hero. In 2505 pages with 440,712 words, there are over 7,353 missspelled or unkown words,grammer errors and numbers for letters. Now this is as far as my spell check would go untill it wanted me to repair or replace errors before it could find more.
This is a bill that every American will have to live with, untill someone or group of someones has the good since to change it. In many places in the bill, they give you one thing they can brag about and ten pages over they change it or take it away. With all the crap in the bill, no person could ever understand what we are to have and what we are going to lose. I think that if you were going to write a bill that is going to take the freedom of choice from every American, you could have at least you could have hit spell check from time to time. That is the mintality of the people that put this together, hurry up so we can get it passed and screw the people with our mistakes. You can call me what you want. I took the advice to get the bill, all at one time, I have read about half of it. Don't understand most of it, if you say you can, you need to be in congress, I bet not one of them read it, on either side.
In my life I have voted both ways, I decide who I vote for, not by left or right, I go by what the party belives, Now I think the demecrats are all about taking from some and giving it to the rest. That is fine if you are the rest. Put youself in the some side. You will get tired of giving and giving. Some of you said that you don't mind a few more taxes to help someone else. I do mind taxes when they are throwed away on back room deals and wasted programs that help only a few people. Our problems we have now, no jobs, etc. it is our fault. We have become a nation of people that lost sight of our pride.We just want something for the least amount of effort.We all bowed down to the Wal-MArt quilty goods. We wanted cheep instead of quality. We no longer want things That are made in our country by our people.
One last point and I am gone from this. When you raise the taxes on things, on products, jobs, insurance companies, and etc. Who pays the taxes. There has never been a tax on anything that has not been passed down to the consummer. We pay all taxes on everything. I hope each and every one of you has a great day and maybe one of these days you will open your eyes and see that your freedoms are being lost. If I have anyerrors in this, I am sorry for you having to see them. I am the evil one that makes a few mistakes from time to time.

You may hate me but in the back of your mind, one of these days when you wake up and see that at least one thing about this bill is going to hurt you, you will say that SOB was right about one thing. In defense of havemercy - I have thought the same thing, but I didn't want to make any accusations, and I still don't. I'm just saying... I can understand why he or she would think that.
Maybe the sources Neil and Rush give are not always accurate-after all,the death panel rumor wasn't true. As for the left being guests on their shows,maybe they don't feel obligated to answer questions from entertainers. Also whenever the left,middle or right call in with a good argument they don't agree with, the call is abruptly ended. Why waste the time?
The only idea the Rep had at the health care summit was NO HEATH CARE BILL.As for the election,I am gonna have to tell ya like Obama told McCain, "The election is over". But wasn't Florida a sham in 04?

Please quite referring to the recent health care reform legislation as "ObamaCare" - that is insulting to the 40 Senators and the 219 Representatives that voted for the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010" (HR 3590).
Next, it is pure ignorance to keep referring anyone to the blogs referenced through "Google" -many of the blogs contain horrible misinformation and are otherwise hyperbolic rants created last Summer.
Instead of perpetuating ignorance, perhaps you should take a couple of days off and read HR 3590 and the accompanying H.R. 4872 - "The Reconciliation Act of 2010" to see exactly how Congress voted to fund this health care reform.
I'm sure both of these pieces of legislation can be found on the Congress' web site or even the WhiteHouse.gov web site.

This is in the obamacare bill. LOOKOUT- next year they will start taking up to $200per month of your paycheck for long term care. You can opt-out but that may change. If you are young and going to work for thirty more years, how much are you going to pay? What if you die? This is one of the things that is buried in the bill?
$200 (x) 12 (x)30 =$72,000 per person. It will be more if there is more than one in your family.
There are a lot more goodies in there like this. By the time they get through with taking out of your paycheck, you will owe the goverment more than you make. Have a great day.
